Julia Bono confirmed her bid for Lake County District 1 Supervisor in the March 2020 Elections.
Highlighting her impressive professional qualifications as a businessperson, minister and scientist, and using the Peace Rose as her campaign emblem, Julia affirmed that she had completed and submitted all of the required paperwork and fees to the Lake County Registrar of Voters to support her candidacy in time to make the December 13th filing deadline. Julia will be running against incumbent Moke Simon in the election for Lake County's District 1 Supervisor on March 3rd, 2020. At the press conference announcing her candidacy on December 12th, 2019, Bono made the following remark:
“I look forward to running an ethical campaign with the goal of improving the future of Lake County and its diverse residents and applying my intelligence, broad experience, ethics and business skills to solving the serious problems that the County presently faces under its current governance.”
