ABOUT ME

Putting My Intelligence, Experience and Ethics to Work for Lake County!

Hello! My name is Julia Mary Bono. I have lived in Southern Lake County's District 1 and run small businesses there for 20 years, and I am now running for District 1 Supervisor in the March 3rd, 2020 election to sit on the Lake County Board of Supervisors.

Once elected, I will bring to the Board of Supervisors my broad-based experience as a capable businesswoman and a highly ethical non-profit leader with considerable legal and real estate expertise. I have previously served on the board of directors of numerous non-profits and other corporations, so I have experience directly relevant to this position.

In addition, I have a professional financial, scientific and literary background -- combined with a strong talent for intelligent problem solving -- that will help me serve our district well and resolve some of the serious, long-standing issues Lake County residents presently face under its current governance.
